There are two ways to make donations to Friends of the Paonia Library and support your local library:
Donate Books
Drop off your used books at the library. We will sort and prep them for our book sales where the money generated gets plowed back into the library. If books do not sell after multiple attempts, we give them to Goodwill.
Donation Guidelines
Please help us keep donations to books we can resell. Please do not donate books that are water damaged or moldy or have missing or badly worn covers. Please gently clean books with dirty covers. We are especially interested, just now, in children’s books that are in good condition.
We cannot accept:
- Calendars
- Directories, Telephone Books
- Encyclopedias
- Magazines
- Procedural Law Books
- Reader’s Digest Condensed Books
- Textbooks
- User and Computer Manuals
- Yearbooks

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit so any donations are tax deductible. Specify if you want a confirmation letter for you donation.
