Welcome to the Friends of the Paonia Library Web Site. The Friends are a non-profit organization supporting your local Paonia library. After we raised the money to build the library, we bent our efforts to help maintain it and have generated over $100,000. These funds are used to:

  • Maintain the landscaping around the library
  • Donate to the Summer Reading Program
  • Support the Summer Concert Series
  • Increase the collections
  • Build the two book barns and the tool shed
  • Help with other library activities (especially children’s activities) as requested by the Delta County Libraries.

We do this with your help.

  • You donate books and we sell them at one of our book sales
  • You become a member of the Friends and your dues help the Library
  • You donate money at our events.

Friends of the Paonia Library is run by a board elected by the members at our annual meeting. The annual meeting is a potluck with great food. Help us by becoming a member, making a donation, assisting with book sorting and sales, or joining the board and helping plan our future. Help us in our mission by:
